I thought my office was cool until I saw the exterior of Adidas’ new corporate headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany. The part that really stung though, was seeing the interior… thanks to the design team at KINZO, I now officially hate my office!! The new working environment features a custom, sporty, and functional furniture system they like to call “WORKOUT” … a perfect name considering the design is purely Adidas in both form and function. Though traditional drafting is a dying art, it is a common experience that many designers can trace to the beginning of their careers. This collection celebrates how these tools are not just products of engineering, but design objects in their own right. These objects were developed with focuses on quality engineering, usability and placement as premium objects. The elements of each piece are united through a common visual language, while each tool also reflects its unique function.

Crane operators spend countless hours in position with limited break time. The FEZA tower crane cabinet seeks to minimize discomfort and increase efficiency with its ergonomic interior. There are panoramic views, user-friendly controls, and advanced security features for work action, while comfort settings like AC and electronic seat adjustment are available at the push of a button. Other creature comforts include food refrigeration, custom shelving, electronic curtains, and extendable leg room for kicking back on those extra long shifts.

Are you a person that works from home on a regular basis? Then, instead of trying our space-saving office solution why not "plant" your office in your garden? The Garden Office in the images below is definitely a daring concept, which will make working from home a lot more interesting. Shaped almost like a regular cubical, the Garden Office offers you the possibility of taking coffee breaks right in your own back yard while also giving you the feeling that you're leaving to work every morning and coming back from work every evening. The Garden Office has plenty of open spaces that will let you enjoy your garden while working and it's pretty easy to build. Both of these contemporary clocks for the desk come from Nava Design and use numbers to make an artistic statement. Whether we choose to believe it or not, numbers always have us "coming and going" whether it's trying to catch a flight, rush home to see the kids or figure out when the work day ends. The first model pictured shows the numbers all jumbled on the bottom and is fittingly called the "Jetlag Clock". The other version is called "Time Square Mini Numeri". Each clock retails for $120 HERE.
