If you’ve been unfortunate to have been in any hospital in our modern world for a long stay, you know it can be an awful experience. Not just because of quality of service, but because of environment, because a hospital is a sterile place where the only fun you should be having is on your way out the door. Designer Sara Tejareh aims to change all that with the power of the soul.

Soul power goes a long way, but this is an industrial design blog, and we want something physical! Therefor I must say that a whole large relaxation area such as the one Sara Tejareh is presenting here would end up being an absolutely invaluable addition to any hospital in the world – as Tejareh says, the power of soul can cheer up your heart even when the rest of your body is failing you – and being in a relaxing arena of pillows and bright colors will do nothing but help in making that power a reality. Mind healing to the rescue.

How super is super modular? You’ll have to judge that for yourself. The amount of modular any item can be really depends on how modular the person using it allows it to be. Be super modular! This shelving system is modular to the max, it’s called IVY Modular Shelving Systems and it’s made to grow on your wall according to your lifestyle, changing at your will. IVY allows you to configure and reconfigure the assembled layout as you wish, each shelf moving with ease. Unique configurations can be done with as many or as few shelves as you wish.

Each shelf is shipped in three pieces, each shelf is assembled at home using keyhole fasteners that are integrated into the pieces themselves. These same fasteners are used to attach the shelves to the walls. Make a tree, make a bush, make a completely non-green object or array. Go wild!

Now, I know we’ve posted about some 3D wall panels before, but I don’t think any of them were made by a group that specializes in just that – making your walls spectacularly professional in a way that’s so rare you can’t help but look up in awe of it. These are Dimensional Wall Panels by 3DWalldecor. Each of them is modular, easy to apply, and easy to paint. Light and shadows made for fantastical looks and feels.

Each panel is made of environmentally friendly bamboo pulp, perfectly suitable for decorating walls and ceilings in any manner of location. Homes, shops, restaurants, offices, and meeting areas are all amongst the groups suggested locations for such divine building blocks. When I post this, there are four designs available. This group and this project are brand new and I wouldn’t be surprised if it blew the heck up over night with insane popularity and mad internet spread.

We all dream off a view to kill but usuallyhave to make do with some great architectural monstrosities in the concrete jungle we live in. American manufacturer Sky Factory takes care of this problem rather brilliantly by coming up with the SkyV. SkyV consist of large digital installations that replicates a gorgeous skyline or any natural wonder on your ceiling by displaying vivid high-definition (HD) sequences. SkyV simulates a real skylight and one can choose between a number of scenes from their vast scene catalogue.

Designer Amirkhan Abdurakhmanov or "Amirko" has a wall concept called "Change It" that allows the homeowner to get interactive with triangular shaped panels that include white, black, or rainbow colors for a change of pace as desired. This may even be a place to spell out less than subtle hints for a roommate or family members. I wonder if Do Your Homework would fit! Via Yanko Design
