The Grasshopper

The motivation behind the El Tucura (The Grasshopper) trike was to give paraplegic users the opportunity to enjoy the thrill of off-road downhill mountain biking, promoting it as an integrated nationwide sport. A crank handle drive means hands are free for steering while accelerating and three 180mm disc brakes and a 250mm suspension give added control on those extreme downhills. I’d have no qualms about trading in my two-wheels for these three!

The ParaMoto Trike is the convergence of designer Zvezdan Nedeljković’s three passions: flying, motorcycles and designing. Well kudos to that, because his zeal has translated into the beautifully ergonomic ParaMoto Trike! An ultralight electric vehicle that goes from a scooter to an elegant powered paragliding trike, in a jiffy! It’s off to a flying start!

Equestrian Inspired Trike

The Saddle concept vehicle merges futuristic styling, modern power technology, & equestrian influence into a go-anywhere electric three wheeler designed to tackle the roughest terrain. Inspired by the mobility & connection to nature offered by horse riding, the drivers seating position is much like being on horseback. The trike’s 3 independently controlled swivel wheels are piloted by use of a hemispherical gyroscopic steering mechanism consisting of 3 adjustable discs controlled by the user’s fingers. Saddle up!

The throttle system, modeled after horse reins, consists of three controls- two external hand throttles to control the front wheels, & a middle throttle to control the rear wheel. Using one hand to steer & the other to control acceleration, the unique navigation system allows many different maneuvers, from a complete circle around the rear wheel to lateral movements.

Let’s Get Dirty!

Unlike the conventional quad, the TrakRok all-terrain trike concept features an independent track system similar to that of a snowmobile. High powered electric motors propel the segmented rubber track plates, enabling maximum traction in both the mud & snow. The system is powered by renewable energy using hydrogen fuel cell technology & the hard yet lightweight ribbed exoskeleton is composed of anodized aluminum to protect the internal components from the harshest of seasonal conditions.
