Designer Rock Wang with the Cocoon Furniture Collection transports you back to ancient China and pays homage to the historically important Silk Route. As the name suggests, the entire line of furniture has been created from silk, spun by silkworms and each piece took around five days. Wang firmly believes in the mantra "Design By Nature" and thus has incorporated bamboo strips to highlight the organic nature of the collection as well as to provide support.
The great thing about the Pause Stool from Soft Line Furniture is the design possibilities with this type of piece. A simple idea may be to have a few of these for children in a home to have a place to climb on, sit and work on projects. On a larger scale Pause can be used to create a colorful lobby design for a business or public waiting area. From the picture it makes me think of a recreation room in a school or church where children can be seated in many different configurations allowing flexibility for room setup. More information: here.
