Remember that home made of concrete that looked, at least from the outside, very unfriendly, only to reveal an amazing interior filled with great furniture designs? Well today we have a somewhat similar house architecture for you. House 53 is the house in question and you'd definitely notice it when driving by. The House 53 has a completely unfriendly facade. In fact there isn't much of a facade to enjoy since wood panels that also act as convenient blinds cover the whole house. The good news here is that this unusual facade design will completely protect your privacy so you'll be hidden from curious eyes. Not to mention that it forces the sun to stay out too. Like always with these strange designs we have some great images of the interior. Too bad that once inside you won't actually be able to enjoy the view, since those wood panels will also block you from looking out the window. Via Marcio Kogan

As you have probably noticed, there's something about modular designs that attracts my interest. No matter what room of the house we'd be talking about, modular furniture can be a lifesaver especially for small apartments. The Tete-e-Tete Nest is such a design, but it's rather suited for public spaces than personal homes. The modular design will offer you absolute privacy when privacy is needed. The designer envisioned electro-chromic windows that change from transparent to opaque thus ensuring the absolute privacy I was talking about. But the Tete-e-Tete Nest can quickly be dismantled and turned into an open space area once the need for privacy is gone. The question is, where would you actually place such designs? Via Formboten

The house in the images below is simply amazing! Your Called the Glass Pavilion and worth $35 million, this house will surprise you with its daring design. All the exterior walls are actually made out of glass, which means that everything going on inside is visible from outside. And since the Glass Pavilion has five bedrooms, a kitchen, a wine room and an art gallery for cars, you could say that there's a lot to see from outside. Luckily for the owners, the property is surrounded by trees and nature will keep your daily actions as private as possible from neighbors' eyes. ss Would you be willing to live in a glass house like this terrific Glass Pavilion? The Feel-Thru panel/curtain is exactly what you need to create a separate private room especially in case you happen to live in a very large studio. The panels can be folded and hanged as you please, and while they'll definitely hide certain areas of the house from curious eyes they'll also let plenty of light come in. The Feel-Thru panels come in either crude or black and will offer you 4 distinct light-friendly finishes. Each panel measures 390 x 2500 x 12 mm and weighs 3.2kg. What's interesting about the design of the Feel Thru is that you can connect as many panels as you wish through magnetization so you'll be able to create a private room or area as big or as small as you want. We have no pricing details for you at this time but there sure are plenty of pictures to admire. Via ABR

These sliding wood doors were created by designer Rodolfo Dordoni for Molteni & C. The product is called Glide and features a series of panels and doors that make up the compilation. The overall design of the product is very minimal to create a blended look in a home where the wood compliments the interior décor. If you like to open up a home and allow the rooms to connect, these types of systems can be attractive as opposed to traditional doors which are narrow in comparison. More information: here.
