Italian company Pallucco haas always made an impression with their innovative design trajectory and proved time and time again that they are not averse to experimentation. Their Bucky, Foglie, and Tabard lighting units exudes an avant-garde sensibility by bidding adieu to symmetry. Bucky resembles a kite and pays homage to architect Richard Buckminster "Bucky" Fuller, where as Foglie ("leaves" in English) is inspired by nature. Interestingly the third in the line up, Tabard seeks inspiration from something as mundane as a seamless overcoat!

British designer, Lee Broom will exhibit the 'One Light Only' lightning collection at the London Design Festival 2010. The entire collection is strikingly distinguishable and makes quite an impression which is not surprising since its source of inspiration is Art Deco jewelry and fashion photography from the late 1970's. The jewel-like gem faceted exterior lighting shell and the subtle matt finish white interior juxtaposes beautifully and lends an air of unabashed grandeur to the entire collection.

The visually striking Andromeda LED pendant lamp has been designed for japanese lighting brand Yamagiwa who are marketing it for both domestic and public space. The lamp is made up of LED clusters that are embedded in the crossing parts of the hard polyurethane foam structure and the lamp also features mirrors that can be repositioned reflect the light in different directions.
