The incredibly beautiful Icarus OLED Lights look ready to illuminate any dark spots in your life. Captivating and innovative, the lights seem to have a mind of their own. Seven wings on each side of the spine open and illuminate in a rhythmic dance and can be configured as per whim. It’s sure to make any factory floor come alive with design!

Raise Safety Quotient While Snowboarding

Daredevil acts while snowboarding offer their fare share of thrills, however one can never be too cautions and thus accidents occur! In such an event, especially when it’s getting closer to sunset, the friendly slopes soon turn hostile and every bit of survival skills need to be harnessed. Keeping this situation in mind, the trio designers have conceptualized a snowboard/post with an OLED Safety Light embedded into the surface. The light is easily activated and is incorporated in such a way that it doesn’t cause any hindrance during snowboarding or run the risk of breaking. A simply superb idea!

A Different Kinda Fold

The Feno is a folding notebook. Typically we expect a hinge between the display and keyboard, but the Feno has an additional hinge within the display! This not only makes the size more compact but also explores future use of flexible OLED screens. The pièce de résistance is the pop-out mouse! Just pop it out and you are good to go! Brilliant!

DSNL: Day Shade Doubles as Night Light

The DSNL is not some sort of brand new type of faster Internet connection. It is instead a concept that combines two devices you could use around the house: a day shade and a night light. That's what DSNL stands for actually: day shade and night light. As you can see in the images below the DSNL acts as a Day Shade during the day and while shading you from the sun it also harvests the sun's energy thanks to those solar panels on top. Then, at night it becomes a Night Light that will use the energy stored during the day to shed light on your late-night work-related activities, and not only. LOMOX OLED Wallpaper To Debut In 2012

Gone are the days when wallpapers meant nauseatingly bad floral prints ( the kind commonly found in your grandmothers home). Today the design market is full wallpapers that epitomize elegance and also feature stunning motifs. I think OLED wallpapers by Lomox can also become quite a rage since not only will they make a striking design statement but will also be energy efficient when compared to compact fluorescent bulbs. This efficient organic LED (OLED) lighting technology should debut in 2012 and the Welsh company has already been awarded a £454k grant by the Carbon Trust. So do you think these wallpaper concepts can spell the end of the trusty lightbulb?
