The Monocasco Concept Bike is an electric version inspired by the original Ossa monocasco bike of Santiago Herrero. Reliving the legacy of the legendary Sabtiago, who died racing his Ossa in the 1970 Grand Prix, this bike is a fitting tribute. The story goes that Ossa abandoned racing altogether after this tragedy.
Despite its bulky outlook, the bike looks like a quirky ride and is nowhere near a racer. Maybe as a sturdy dependable city bike that doesn’t burn much rubber!
Miroslav Hundak’s FB R2000S concept is loosely based on the BMW R1200S, a Boxer model renowned for sporting performance and dynamic riding characteristics. The athletic look of the FB R2000S is contrasted with a particular touch of lightness in the form of not 2, but 3 hubless wheels with independent suspension and minimal fairings that in combination simply exude power and dynamism. Engineers will have their rightful criticisms, but there’s no denying that it looks fun to ride! Hit the jump for a sweet vid!
The Pandur 2L and Modelul Le aren’t quite motorcycles but we can’t call them “two-wheelers” either. In fact, “two-ballers” would be a more appropriate name. The vehicles are based on an electromagnetic propulsion system that involves the movement of a sphere inside a shell and suspension given by the electric field between the body and each sphere. Contact is only found between rider and vehicle body as well as the spherical rubber exterior and road.
Definitely out there, but sure to get you thinkin’.
The M2 electric racing motorcycle by designer Pedro Marcondes is one slick looking street bike. I’m loving the athletic stance and round spokes, but what really sets it apart is its race-ready construction. 6 sub-divided cells make it easy to remove, repair, or replace integral components during those time-critical pit stops.
I have no words really. The title says it all. The renders… are just so brazen. Here’s the brief. In the 22nd century, the gap between rich and poor widen and life expectancy doubles. All that extra cash and time means people get bored. Enter the Gladiator’s Bike. A craft designed for a futuristic race where competitors battle it out to the finish line and win the people’s admiration.
The Union is a folding cycle that you can carry easily in public transport systems like buses and trains. Folded up, it’s more like backpack that doesn’t weigh you down. This 8-inch folding bicycle slams down in a jiffy and its most defining feature is that it combines the stem with the headlight and the saddle with taillight, for better visibility and safety.
Some of the issues that this sleek cycle tackles are:
Most folding bicycles have distorting problems while riding, so the framework of the bike must be integrated
After folding the bike, we “pull” or “drag” the bike instead of hand-carry it
Easy to carry on to the public transportation after folding
The process of folding should be easy and quick
The brake light and reflect light have reached the standard of safety

The latest from motorbike enthusiast Madella Simone is this design inspired by the iconic and record breaking 1934 Peugeot 515. Unlike the original 4-stroke, this modern 515 powers its rear in-wheel engine with a rechargeable lithium battery. Another unusual feature, it’s also missing the usual hub that linked fork and body; instead, it features a sphere that permits the changing of the wheelbase.

Inspired by Dyson’s Air Multipliers, the Dyke bike (I’m serious) works on the same principles. Air flows through the bronze hollow cylinder creating an entrainment. The air is pulled, amplified by 1000000X, to pushed the bike upwards (stability) and forward (speed), all powered by electricity. The design is styled with an “air”odynamic in mind – sexy with a provocative elegance and unique ergonomics.

In standing with the name it carries, the Tesla E-max is a far-out but awesome electric motorbike concept that features modern technologies and an unforgettable aesthetic. To supplement power to its 2 independent motors located in each wheel, the body is covered in a top layer of piezolectric material that converts compression strength into electricity and a second layer of Halite fiber that converts human heat. Pretty wild!
