I’m sure there are many people out there living alone or with one or two other people that don’t need a huge, huge dining table, yet they need the option for one when entertaining. Isn’t that what leaves are for? Are those table inserts still even called leaves? Or a leaf? Ah, whatever!
The point of the matter is that this adorable little TAble is actually two TAbles in one. Perfect for small spaces and those that only require a small table for everyday use, the TAble has a way more stylish and more modern way to extend itself than with those wooden leaf extension things. I love it!
TAble is designed by Elda Bellone Studio.

The SitTable is an interesting spin on how we gather around the table, with fabric seats built right into the table. Perfect for a birthday celebration or wedding, when the guests of honor can sit within the table!
There are two types of the SitTable. The SitTable seen above is made of white HPL with a glossy white veneer. It has a purple fabric seat and an Anthraciet Grey steel base. The other version of the SitTable can be seen below. It is made from wood veneer and dark oak, with mustard yellow fabric.

The SitTable was designed by UnStudio for PROOFF. It is produced by Arco Contemporary Furniture. UnStudio’s website explains the design behind the SitTable: “People communicate in a variety of ways. The design for the SitTable caters to the needs of those divergent varieties.”

Located by the south coast of England, the designers of the Splice Collection based their designs off of the angular shapes of the sea and related equipment, such as dockside machinery and ship structures. Consisting of stools and a table, the Splice Collection is made from sustainable, eco-friendly materials.
The Splice Stool is made from sustainably sourced Birch wood. It is available with a natural seat or with colorful 100% wool felt, which is also eco-friendly, on the top panels.

The Splice Table is also made from sustainable Birch wood. Both the Splice Tool and the Splice Table can be used in commercial areas, as well as indoor and outdoor settings. Each piece is finished with a natural, painted finish and left with a worn edge to represent the wear and tear that happens to machinery and ships used at sea.
The Splice Collection is designed by Fry & Fry for Liquidesign.

The Pipe Wrench Coffee Table design in the images below looks definitely interesting but will it really fit with most living room setups? The Pipe Wrench Coffee Table is pretty simple. You have a glass tabletop neatly placed on top of a few wrenches that act as the legs of the table. I personally like this Jonathan Niemuth design, and I would definitely see myself using such a coffee table even though it doesn't really fit with any of my regular furniture pieces. You won't necessarily see this Pipe Wrench Coffee Table in furniture stores very soon, but you could always make such a modern coffee table yourself. Anyone else interested in the Pipe Wrench Coffee Table? Via Coroflot

The Loop Coffee Table is a very interesting coffee table that can also act as a storage solution for your magazine, books and DVDs and anything else you tend to leave around your living room. The Loop Coffee Table is supposed to "mimick the effect of tucking loops into one another" but don't be fooled, as the table is pretty resistant, despite its overall appearance. The table is made of either birch ply or MDF. The Loop Coffee Table will come in various colors and, by bringing a new shape to your modern living room it's sure to brighten up your whole day, even if you're not much of coffee drinker yourself. The table you're looking at in the images below is not an outdoor table but an actual dining table ready to dominate the dining area of your house. The SWIRL Table is made from metal wire, tubes and a glass top. Instead of clear glass the top of the table can be ordered with decorations or you can choose a solid worktop but then you'd totally miss out on that intricate table leg design. The SWIRL Table comes in red, black, white, green and gray and it will be always ready to accommodate four people for dinner and impress them with its design during the actual meal. Would you go for this SWIRL Table design or is it simply too modern for a dining table? Via Pured

While this Atlas may not be your tradition book of maps, it provides the perfect display area for them! Made completely from tempered glass, the Atlas is designed by Danny Lane for Fiam, a furniture company based out of Italy.
The table top is made from a single piece of tempered glass that gracefully swoops in the center. The eye-catching legs of the Atlas table are 19 sections of hand-carved glass that is glued onto each other. The Atlas is available in several sizes, in rectangular and square shapes, and can be used in many ways: as a desk, a coffee table or dining table.
Where would you use the Atlas table?

For the Gear Table from Ryan Matchett.
Manufactured for a hotel in Rwanda, the Gear Table is a chic contemporary table with clean, precise lines. The top is made out of MDF combined with walnut. The sharp shapes that create the gear pattern are cut with CNC technology. After the shape is in place, the wood is sealed with a walnut veneer.
You can see in the photo above that there are two pieces of wood cut into a gear shape and then offset for a dimensional effect. The base of the Gear Table is a mirror-polish stainless steel finish with adjustable rubber feet.
