The colorful series includes sofas, armchairs, and lounges that feature feather filled seats and a large backrest that is definitely shabby sheik. Il Loft specializes in designer furniture from Giorgio Saporiti, who is known as a "creative dynamo". Eye-catching, somewhat provocative colors play a central role in Giorgio Saporiti's life, and this can been seen in the way he lives and works. Despite being inordinately fond of "color", he prefers clean-cut furniture with distinct outlines. As purveyors of the modern A&D scene, Marcel Wanders has always been one of our favorites. His recent collections once again proves why Wanders is a design force to reckon with. The "Eden" and "Babel" collections may have Biblical names but thats where the religious connotations end. Developed in conjunction with the French Furniture company xO, the former is a series of vases, tables and stools while the latter a collection of chairs. For Babel, Wanders had worked with materials like wood, plastic, acrylic and for Eden he has favored glass and ceramic.

This collection of storage cabinets of many sizes and heights was inspired by "the theories of the artistic movement called Radical Design, which began in the 1960's in Tuscany before spreading to other parts of the world. Objects and products were no longer designed in view of their mere function, but were transformed into actual "emotional media". Here ideas, thoughts and yearnings of an entire generation were exploited in a variety of ways". Designer Rock Wang with the Cocoon Furniture Collection transports you back to ancient China and pays homage to the historically important Silk Route. As the name suggests, the entire line of furniture has been created from silk, spun by silkworms and each piece took around five days. Wang firmly believes in the mantra "Design By Nature" and thus has incorporated bamboo strips to highlight the organic nature of the collection as well as to provide support.
