Royèroid Seating Collection Pays Tribute To Jean Royère

6:45 am in Modern Furniture & Design, Sofas by Tanya

Robert Stadler pays homage to the late French interior designer Jean Royère by unveiling the Royèroid Seating Collection. The pieces look like monoliths thanks to a complex pattern enveloping them in the manner of a computer-generated 3D-mesh but the beauty is that all of them are handmade. The entire collection highlights the designer's artistic dexterity and the monochromatic palette creates quite a visual impact.

5:08 am in Chairs, Chairs & Bar Stools, Modern Chairs by Tanya

In this era of iPods, iPhones and iPads, its no surprise that there is something called the iSit! Magnus Olesen's i-SIT is not another incarnation of one of Apple's famous device but is a stylish ergonomic chair that will be an instantaneous success with the discerning Mac community. The back-friendly lounger doesn't look like the cliched work chair and this is where its appeal lies. The lumber pillow, and an adjustable inclination ensures that you no longer need to visit the neighboring chiropractor!
