Living room furniture can be interesting in the way if frames up a living space. “Archipel” from Leolux creates a cool look by allowing the home owner to take a more active role in arranging furniture. The design description for Archipel include terms such as floating islands, boulders in a river and puzzle pieces, all pointing to the product’s flexibility. Ibis bookcases draw their design inspiration from the bird “Ibis” which is a tall wading bird with a long bill. An interesting concept in the furniture is the way in which the shelves are suspended from a support that appears above the top shelf. Not only do the supports lend strength to the shelves and allow them to hold weight, but they add to the overall visual appeal.
