Paper Holds Water

11:57 pm in Concept by Radhika-Seth

The Life is a recycled paper-made water container designed for Milano Expo 2015. The idea is to dissuade people from using plastic bottles and use this one-day-use bottle instead. It’s crafted from natural cotton and recycled paper layer and it doesn’t use any chemical ink or adhesives that are tough to recycle. The handy green cord makes it easy for you to carry it along. Oh, and the proposal does include having water fountains around the expo area so that you can refill it several times during the day.

Shelf Life Faucet Brings a Water Spring in Your Bathroom

11:37 pm in Bathroom Design & Furniture, Shelf by chris

We have covered plenty of faucet alternatives for your modern bathroom, some very high-tech and some very simple but we have more interesting designs to show you. The Shelf Life faucet in the images below has a unique form that makes it resemble an actual water spring emerging from a rock. The giant rock, in this case, is the bathroom, or better said a shelf of your bathroom, but the Shelf Life is definitely a faucet solution very pleasant to the eye. No wonder it won the Bathroom Innovation Award 2010 in the professional category! The Shelf Life project is just a concept for now but it could soon be available in a store near you. Cube Shelves that Bring Life to a Wall

Cube shelves are a great way to offer storage in a simple fashion. The great thing about these is that they can be fashioned yourself as a home project. This example here is finished in a stone color that creates a gray look against the dark backdrop of the wall. The model is called "cube lit" due to the lighting installed underneath the cube shelves. Via.
