Area rugs can add something extra to the design of a room that can bring out color, class and accent when decorating your home. The beauty of area rugs is the ability to add a splash of something into a room whether it be color, design or texture. I do think that online resources can offer a lot of samples you may not see otherwise in stores. Many stores seem to have very few samples today unless you look through their distributors’ catalogs. I find it particularly helpful when I can find an image of a rug situated in a room setting where you can see how it reacts with its surroundings.
