8:49 pm in Fireplace, Fireplaces, Modern Furniture & Design by Tanya

I am quite aware that winter is long gone (at least in my part of the world). However nothing like beating the scorching sun by dreaming of romantic fireplaces. Check out Planika's Fire Line which claims to be " world's first "smokeless fire" as it doesn't burn fuel but "Fanola" which is based on ethanol of plant origin and is a renewable source of energy. So if you fancy some cozy fireplace where you can snuggle with your better half with a glass of wine, then the collection by Planika Studio is a must.

4 Affordable Ventless Fireplaces

5:00 am in Accessories, Design, Fire Place, Fire Places, Fireplace, Fireplaces, Home, Home Accessories, Home Furnishings, House, Wall by John

I really enjoy the look and feel of these 4 ventless fireplaces from Anywere Fireplace. Three of the models are designed to fit in a wall and don’t require an enormous amount of space for installation. A fourth option is more like a coffee table allowing for portability. Each of these models does not require any ventilation to run. They burn bio-ethanol which is a clean burning fuel that leaves no odors or soot. One liter of bio-ethanol is designed to burn for 2-5 hours depending on the size of the ventless fireplace. See all the four models: HERE. Prices: $200-$400.

New Wall Mounted Fireplace from Spark Modern Fires

The “Direct Vent Slim 46″ is the latest release in wall mounted fireplaces from Spark Modern Fires. The model measures 46 inches wide and conveniently fits into a wall thereby saving precious space in a room. A nice feature about wall mounted fire places is that you get to choose where to hang them. In many homes, the fireplace location is already determined which can often limit the possibilities in how to arrange furniture in a room. Via.

Pina from RAIS brings modern technology to the old school wood burning stove. Following the design of turn of the century stoves, Pina updates that look with polished grey or black metal sides replacing cast iron models. It sits on a turntable base that rotates 360 degrees allowing the flames to be seen anywhere in the room. The firebox is designed with clean burn technology to limit energy consumption.
