The GROOVESTRAP is a T-shaped handy thang that hooks onto an external 2.5-inch external Hard Drive and converts it to a useful interim MP3 player. Kinda getting you back into the groove with your music on the go. It features a knob on both the sides of the T, to be used as controls for volume and track shifting. Totally digging its minimal style coupled with utilitarian approach.

Beauty Lies In A Hard Drive

Apple kinda kick-started the revolution behind gorgeous looking computers and peripherals and it’s fitting to find new-age designers striving to keep pace. The Octave is an artistically beautiful hard drive that incorporates a simple shape and airy architecture – digital information encapsulated in elegance.

It features a thin black anodized aluminum grid to increase ventilation. The polished perforated aluminum plate keeps this high-capacity drive silent and cool. A lacquered white coat, slip resistant rubber pads and a power button round out the specs. A blue LED indicates read/write status and a white LED indicates the Octave is running.

For those who require two Octave hard disks, they can be assembled vertically, with a base designed specially for this purpose.

Electrolux External Refrigerator Shows Us a Glimpse of the Future

This particular piece furniture doesn't really qualify as the usual outdoor furniture you'd be usually interested in purchasing, as it's rather a home appliance that you'd store outside. This bold design can be an eco-friendly fridge solution for the future. The Electrolux external refrigerator is placed outside and accessible via a window. The refrigerator will use the temperature outside to conserve food in the colder months of the year while in summer the sun's energy will be used to keep your favorite foods at cool temperature. Electrolux will certainly consider making such a fridge in the future especially since the product is part of the Electrolux Design Lab 2010 competition. Via Nicolashubert
