We have another interesting table design for you today, and while this one doesn't move around as easily as the Walking Table we've seen yesterday, it will certainly capture your attention. The Draw Luminaire is not just a simple dinner table, not that you'd be expecting it to be, would you? Instead, this table has a hidden trick: it can produce light. The light comes from underneath but, with a simple touch, the light source can be lifted in order to light up your table. When you're done with it, just push it back down and it will go off once it reaches the area underneath the Draw Luminaire table. That's right, the more you pull it up, the more intense the light is and vice-versa. Would you replace your regular table with a Draw Luminaire? Via Mocoloco

We continue to see designers of LED lighting taking advantage of the endless possibilities thanks to their small and versatile nature. The VorteXX ultra modern chandelier from Zaha Hadid and Patrik Schumacher for the Zumtobel Masterpiece Collection use reinforced fiberglass and translucent acrylic to house the 190 LED's that wind their way into a stunning light fixture. Special technology allows for color mixing of Red, Blue, and Green with a separate touch panel. See more from Zumtobel here.
