In designer Ilkka Suppanen’s creation “Babol”, a beautiful silkscreen featuring circles in a soft green stand out in the room setting. These contemporary home pictures come from Belsize Architects and cover a new home constructed in the Heath Fringes Conservation Area in Highgate, London. The “Sheldon Avenue” project was constrained by a long and narrow plot of land. The home owners wanted seven bedrooms in a contemporary setting. These 4 contemporary chandeliers come from Katz and were created by designer Stanislav Katz. Each example is different without a theme being central in the design of all four. The blimp made me think about the rock band Led Zeppelin and the artwork on their CD covers where the “zeppelin” is a common symbol. The colors of the second one made me think of “Neapolitan Ice Cream” though there are more than three colors in the product. These modern chandeliers are interesting, because when you first see them your own thoughts will develop about their inspiration, which are completely different than mine. Via.

Though it appears quite simple there are several options which make this bed interesting. Both the headboard and footboards can be set in reclining positions. There are five different settings where the front or back part of the bed can be reclined between 15-50 degrees. The aluminum frame comes in several colors which include: natural anodized, natural polished, white gloss, black gloss, red gloss, grey gloss and orange gloss.
