Never Too Old for a Computer

11:48 pm in 未分类 by Radhika-Seth

There’s this perception that the silver generation gets intimidated by technology and can find it difficult to get savvy with gadgets. Four of my family members…all above 65 years and only one of them is comfortable with computers. So maybe the perception is true, and this is why designers like Ryan Klinger are spending hours on designing a laptop especially for them. Personal Computing for Older Adults can be a solution, and it has my support!

Hylla Cumulus Cloud Shelves Store Stuff With No Internet Connection Required

Cloud computing is something we hear every day now as everyone is talking about how to save or store stuff in the cloud. But what if there was a way to store some stuff on the cloud? That's right, you heard me correctly! You don't have to know the ins and outs of the Internet to store various objects on the Hylla Cumulus Cloud Shelves since they have nothing to do with the online world. The Hylla Cumulus shelves are definitely interesting, easy to mount and fairly cheap at 950Kr (Danish Krone) or about $160 a pop. Or would you rather store your stuff online, in the other cloud, the Internet-based one? Via DesignTorget
