The "Uncompleted Chair" hasn't been designed by a bunch of procrastinators as the lack of back support is intentional. Looks like designers Chia-Wei Lin and Jui-Lu Shih thought that storing umbrellas and other knick-knacks takes precedent over a boring chair back! A neat concept but I personally cannot imagine buying a chair that lacks a back!

If we look back to the 1970s beanbag chairs were very popular. The round accessory seating came in many colors including some bold ones for that time period. Those models featured a round design where a "nest" was made which created the seating nook. This retro idea is a more modern version called "AMPLOA". As purveyors of the modern A&D scene, Marcel Wanders has always been one of our favorites. His recent collections once again proves why Wanders is a design force to reckon with. The "Eden" and "Babel" collections may have Biblical names but thats where the religious connotations end. For Babel, Wanders had worked with materials like wood, plastic, acrylic and for Eden he has favored glass and ceramic.
