12:09 am in Bathroom, Bathroom Design & Furniture, Tubs by Tanya

Design Guru Patricia Urquiola has channelled her creative energies for Agape to design the minimalistic Vieques Tub. This steel tub's stark form factor may not appeal to everyone however its no frills design along with its two tone finish is undeniably attractive. The Vieques Tub was designed in 2008 but the multi-faceted design is still relevant in today's contemporary design continuum. A modern take on the traditional bath tub, the Vieques features a white finish on the inside and dark grey finish on the outside which is complemented by a teak shelf and backrest.

The Tub-E by Wild Terrain Designs is an electronic bathtub that seems to mirrors the bathroom culture of the future or so we like to hope. A fantastic fusion of functionality, modern aesthetics and cutting-edge technology, this bathtub of the future is as smart as its sexy. All Glass Allos Bathtub By Glass Idromassaggio

11:57 pm in Bathroom Design & Furniture, Glass, Tubs by Tanya

Italian bath company, Glass Idromassaggio bring minimalism to the forefront with the Allos see-through bathtub. The slim silhouette and the almost bare design may be an odd choice in the luxury bathroom field, however here it seems to raise the design stakes. Devoid of any unnecessary trappings, the austere look adds a fierce accent to the bathtub and makes blends beautifully with its surroundings. Apart from the understated design, what really works in favor of the Allos Bathtub is it feature set. The bathtub is extremely serious about the concept of home wellness since it comes equipped with a soft head cushion and a soothing lighting system. The quick-fill feature along with the built-in television ensures that you soak away all your troubles and rejuvenate your body and soul from the comforts of your home.

Optix Bathtub Series By Maax Collection

3:20 am in Bathroom Design & Furniture, Tubs by Tanya

Pink is not my color of choice when it comes to any aspect of home decor, however the Optix Bathtub Series somehow manages to carry this usual jarring shade with panache. Designed by Maax Collection, the Optik Post-Minimalist Bathtub is all about simplicity and understated elegance without falling in trap of the usual monochromatic route. The contemporary styling, the exuberant color palette and the sinuous lines makes the bathtub a formidable member of the bathroom culture. It will be wrong to assume that the bathtub is only about style since it features massage options, curvaceous armrests, a spacious flat deck surface and a cushioned head pillow.
