Sony a few weeks ago unveiled a 3D capable home theater system that is also Blu-Ray compatible. The Sony BDV-HZ970W will now see a July release and the 5.1 channel full HD system is capable of 1080p resolutions and wireless capabilities. It comes with a 02.11n USB WLAN adapter so that uses can hook up to the Bravia Internet Video platform and their Qriocity service.Other features include two HDMI inputs with 3D pass-through, an universal remote and even remote capabilities to iPhone and iPod touch via a free app called BD Remote. The BDV-HZ970W home theatre system will be priced at about $800.
