Out-of-the-box bathroom basin you ask? Well how about the Cup in the images below? The Cup washbasin has an interesting shape that immediately reminds you of your coffee cup. But this Cup will never hold any coffee. Instead it will act as a very useful sink with the Cup handle acting as a towel holder. The Cup comes either in white or in black and it would fit perfectly with the rest of your modern bathroom. But make sure you find other similar bathroom elements shaped like kitchenware. After all, the Cup basin certainly imposes a kitchen theme for your bathroom, and it deserves some appropriate company! Via Artceram

Cook ‘n’ Roll Kitchen Table All-in-One: Cooktop, Dishwasher, Sink, Oven, Storage and Sanitizer

Until now I have shown you various ways of saving precious space when it comes to kids' playing areas, bathrooms or home offices. It's now time to look at your kitchen, especially if it's a very small one. The Cook 'n' Roll is a concept that adds plenty of utility to your crowded kitchen while looking cool in the process. Acting as an all-in-one kitchen furniture piece, the Cook 'n' Roll offers you plenty of uses: cooktop, dishwasher, sink, oven, storage and sanitizer. The whole design is very daring and it proposes some ingenious solutions: an inductive cooking surface, sensory cleaning sticks (waterless dish-washing) and a sink, an infrared oven and a storage area. The Cook 'n' Roll is still just a concept for modern kitchens but we'll definitely look forward for this one to hit stores. Via Yanko Design

New Faucet Fixtures that Boggle the Mind

5:00 am in Bathroom, Bathroom Design & Furniture, Faucets, Home, House, New, Sink by John

Coming up with new faucet fixtures is challenging due to the simple engineering behind a faucet and how that can limit designers. Regimantas Vegele is a Lithuanian designer who created this new product called “Pebble”. The inspiration came from a stone in a river which over time gets worn down due to erosion and becomes a flat and smooth surface. More information: here. Via.
