The Safe House below looks like a modern fort and it definitely doesn't excite the eye, at least not at first. But once you pass through those concrete gates and enter the actual Safe House, you'll be surprised by its inner beauty. And it's not a cheap cliché either but a marvelous architectural idea. The "Beast" looks simple on the outside, but it's on the inside where the architect really shows talent. The Safe House looks like an actual two-story safe as it has plenty of moveable components that will isolate you from whatever is happening in the world. Looking at it from the outside, you're probably not going to fall in love with the Modular House in the images below. But once you step right inside, at least virtually, you'll completely change your mind. The Modular House has been designed by the team of architects at A-Cero and can be found in Coruna, Spain. The combination of glass and aluminum panels on the outside make it look like a warehouse from certain angles. But this 106-m2 Modular House will offer you three bedrooms, two baths, a hall, a dining room, a laundry room and a kitchen. And the interior will definitely surprise you with the simple and very modern furniture design. My first comment is that I wish I had more pictures of this project. These one story house plans feature a place to be built in Ojai, California. Ojai is a town of 8,600 people according to the 2003 census that is 33 miles from Santa Barbara and 83 miles from Los Angeles. These house pictures showcase the work of Kanner Architects on the “511 House” in Pacific Palisades, California. The home measures 3,500 square feet and has two stories. A theme in the house plans was to blur the lines between indoor and outdoor. The first floor is nearly all lit by natural sunlight with windows and sliding glass doors everywhere. The main house areas such as the living room, kitchen and dining room are all on this floor. The sliding glass doors can be pulled back to allow the natural breeze to come in turning the floor into a near patio due to all the sunlight. Obviously, this product needs a large footprint to be installed making it not a viable solution for many of our readers. That being said, a smaller footprint and less sitting area space could compact a model like this into a closet possibility. The “Sheldon Avenue” project was constrained by a long and narrow plot of land. The home owners wanted seven bedrooms in a contemporary setting.
