That's the name of this particular project that comes all the way from India and is inspired by common ladders. This Bookshelf Chair looks like a ladder and certainly can act as one, but it's also a pretty comfortable chair to enjoy a quick read. The Bookshelf Chair has enough storage space for all your favorite books and magazines and will bring a touch of personality to your home office. Exhibi-Table Shows Everyone What You’re Currently Reading

The Exhibi-Table is not exactly a home office table; in fact it's not exactly a table for your home but rather for your business, in case your business is selling books and magazines. The table has its own storage shelves embedded right in it and that area can be used to display all the books and magazines you're trying to pitch to your customers. Besides showing various titles to your audience the Exhibi-Table can act as a regular table too, and, if you insist, you could get one for home too, although you'd have little-to-no use for it on most days. So, anyone particularly interested in this Exhibi-Table? Via Yanko Design

Trick Bookcase Can Hold All Your Cooking Books and Then Some

1:13 pm in Chairs & Bar Stools, Coffee, End & Side Tables, Home Storage, Home Storage & Shelving, Kitchen, Modern Furniture, Modular Furniture, Shelving, Small Home Furniture, Table by chris

The Trick Bookcase in the images below is not just a simple bookcase. It is, in fact, a lot more complex than that. The Trick Bookcase is apparently a kitchen table, although it can be placed anywhere else too, that also hides a couple of chairs right underneath it. Both the table and the chairs act as fancy storage solution, but make sure you don't spill your cook books, journals, and whatever else you decide to store down there during the day while you're pulling and pushing those chairs away. The Trick Bookcase modular furniture concept should definitely be considered for your crowded small apartment but not only. If there's one thing I can object to is not having enough legroom under the chair but you can't have it all, can you? Via Sakurah

Polyp Laundry Basket Holds Dirty Clothes On the Wall

11:34 am in Design, Home Appliances, Home Storage, Home Storage & Shelving, Small Home Furniture by chris

Are you looking for a way to recycle the space used by your current dirty laundry basket? Well why not replace it with the Polyp Laundry Basket, an interesting basket design that's meant to be mounted on the wall of your choosing. The Polyp Laundry Basket cab be easily attached to a wall in you room and used to store dirty laundry. Whenever each of the three baskets is filled, you can simply remove it from the wall and carry your clothes to the washing machine. Each basket has as much storage space as your laundry machine so whenever it fills up you'll have exactly one load of dirty clothes to deal with. The only problem with the Polyp Laundry Basket is explaining the design to your visitors. As daring as this design is, the fact remains that it stores dirty clothes, which are available for anyone to see. Via Helene Steiner

Lost in Sofa Chair Design Actually Helps You Find Your Things

10:50 pm in Chairs & Bar Stools, Design, Home Storage, Modern Design, Modern Furniture, Sofa, Sofas by chris

The Lost in Sofa seating solution is a sofa-like chair that will surprise you with its unusual design. The Lost in Sofa chair will help you store various small things between its small cushions, and you'll always be able to find them when they're needed. The Lost in Sofa chair says that basically "anything can be inserted anywhere", although I wouldn't stick a coffee paper cup in between those cushions. But you can definitely use the Lost in Sofa chair to store books, magazines, cell phones, spare change and remote controls. Too bad the actual design has enough space to seat just one person. It would be a lot more interesting for the Lost in Sofa to be, well, an actual sofa made of plenty of cushions instead of just a chair. Via Daisuke Motogi

"Schiena" means in Italian spine, so therefore the images below are showing us a spine-shaped bookcase that will never require the attention of a doctor. The back of this Schiena Bookshelf can be bent to your choosing and you should definitely bend it whichever way you like in order to come up with a daring shape, but one that can still support your favorite books while also surprising your visitors in the process. The Schiena Bookcase has various moving elements so creating your personal spine bookshelf design is really easy. Not to mention that the Schiena comes with LED lights behind it to illuminate your creations and empower the overall visual effect of this bent spine-like design. Via Pietro Travaglini

Staircase Storage Solution Comes to the Rescue of Small Homes

11:41 am in Furniture, Home Storage, Home Storage & Shelving, Modern Design, Shelving, Small Home Furniture by chris

Your storage prayers have been answered, particularly if you live in a small home or apartment. The Staircase storage solution is a vertical shelf that has plenty of drawers for you to hide away your stuff that would otherwise clutter the already crowded space you live in. Since the shelf expands vertically rather than horizontally, the Staircase uses "minimal ground square meters" (that's 55 x 74cm), not to mention that it looks good in the process. The Staircase is 2.6 meters high and therefore the bottom three shelves act as a staircase in order for you to reach the top shelves. Worried about safety? Well hold on that side railing there and you should be fine. Via Danny Kuo

An Furniture Modular Storage Solution Is Inspired by Paper Sizes

4:41 am in Home Storage, Home Storage & Shelving, Modern Design, Modular Furniture by chris

The An Furniture is a modular storage solution that is inspired by paper sizes. Each cabinet is half the size of the previous model and twice the size of the next model in the series, just like Ax paper size act. A1 is twice as big as A2 and, following the same logic, A4, the usual paper size we're accustomed two, is half the size of the A3 and twice the size of the A5. The An Furniture cabinets can be arranged in any shape you desire, as each cabinet is an independent, stand-alone object. And whenever you'll want to move to a new home, you'll be able to neatly pack the An Furniture cabinet by placing each cabinet into the bigger version, from the smallest one to the biggest one, just like you would pack away those Russian Matryoshka dolls.
