Is it just me or does this time of year put you in the mood for glittery goodness everywhere? From ornaments to outfits (or your whole bod if you’re feeling like the chick above), there’s never any need to skimp on the sparkles. Glam and glitz it up!
Well, at least that’s my feelings on glitter. What are yours?!

It’s December 1st and many people out there have already had their tree and other holiday decor up since last week. Are you one of them?
I’m not! I wanted to wait until December 1st this year, just to enjoy that last bit of fall lingering in my house. But now I’m ready to get started and I may even pull in some inspiration from these six different Christmas trees. And since many don’t celebrate Christmas, we’ll have something for Hanukkah tomorrow!
If you do celebrate Christmas, have you decorated your tree yet? Does it look like any above?

Just wanted to share one last detail of my trip to London last week – the windows at Fortnum & Mason!
Again, my apologies for the iPhone photos. But hopefully you can get an idea of how lovely they are. My favorite is the one with all of the peacock feathers – so glam!
Unfortunately, we arrived to Piccadilly Circus too late to check out the inside of the store, but my mom says it’s fabulous and I hope to visit the next time I’m overseas. Have you ever been?
Hopefully, I’ll be able to check out the the beautiful windows in NYC next. What window displays will you be visiting this holiday season?

Gift giving is arguably one of the best parts of the holiday season. Unfortunately, with the bestowing of gifts also comes incessant waste. According to Earth911, discarded wrapping paper and shopping bags in the U.S. total more than 4 million tons annually. Moreover, the EPA states holiday gift-wrapping is largely attributed to the approximate 25 [...]

Meet Huey. He is no ordinary chameleon but actually an electronic cybertronic chameleon that moonlights as funky lamp! This uber cool lamp matches the color of the surface it sits on (told you its cool). Retailing on Think Geek for $29.99, the lamp has a color cycle mode which lets you moves through various colors automatically and on squeezing it, stops at the desired color. Maybe its the thought behind the concept or the beautiful intricate calligraphy but I have instantly fallen for the Peace Collection by Christies and personally think that the objects make for a thoughtful gift and will be appreciated by sensitive souls all over. Inspired by artist Clara Halter's wall installation dedicated to the hope for universal harmony, the Peace Pebble Paperweight and the Peace Bookmark conveys a beautiful message and at the same time also makes for a stunning home object. Both the pebble and the bookmark has a soul stirring message of peace hand-stamped on it in more than twenty languages across its surface. The Peace Pebble Paperweight is selling for $160.00 and the Peace Bookmark for $38.00 at the VIVRE website.

Statuary Warning: Not suitable for individuals that are on a diet!
Quirky yet thoughtful items always makes for the perfect gift and the Marmeled Jelly Lamps seem to fit this criteria. Don't fooled by the jars as the Marmeled Jelly Lamps are not edible and are to be strictly used as lighting objects. The jars light up due it the immersion of high-luminosity LED in the shiny gel and one has to just turn the jar upside-down and place it on the metal lid to switch on the lamp. The Marmeled Jelly Lamps are available in a plethora of colors and can be ordered online from here.
