Cascading Water Tap Reminds Me of Bamboo

11:56 pm in Fountain, Kitchen by Radhika-Seth

The Bamboo Fountain faucet takes inspiration from the natural Asian springs and looks like a bamboo stem. The water intentionally flows as a slow gurgling fall to minimize wastage. The water flow can be fortified with dietary elements like Calcium, Iron, and Potassium using special cartridges. I think this is a good idea for counties where it is safe to drink out of tap water. Temperature control and touch sensitive display round off the features.

Many of us could stand to adopt some Zen principles to try and slow down our lives and create more quiet serenity. This small Zen fountain is designed to create a contemplative space in a place of your choosing such as office, apartment or house. The Zen fountain is comprised of a copper bowl, two copper bars, tumbled slate, trickling water and a flickering tea light. The bamboo is not included, but could be picked up easily at a nearby garden store. The Chinese symbol for “prosperity” is painted on the smaller slate tile. Dimensions: 9″L x 9″W x 6″H. Price: $129.
