A few days ago we've seen an interesting bathroom shower concept meant to help us recycle unused water and today we have a similar eco-friendly bathroom design that's supposed to recycle all that bathroom water you use in your bathroom. The Aquabox bath system is actually a complex bath unit that will help you recycle and purify the water you use during your showers or while you wash your hands. The "wasted" water gets purified and then stored into an 80-liter tank and you can further use the same water to flush your toilet and even water your flowers. The design is definitely interesting and some sort of Aquabox bath system could be included in more and more bathrooms in the near future. Any early adopters ready to try the Aquabox?
Purveyors of minimalist designs will appreciate the sleek and chic styling of the Quarantacinque (Forty-five) single-lever mixer. Manufactured by Italian company Ottone Meloda, the Quarantacinque is dominated by clean punctilious lines, scuplturalistic silhouettes and modern streamlined aesthetics. The Quarantacinque is edgy and the 45-degree angle is what makes it unique and different from the rest of the clique. The chic chrome finish further enhances the form factor which has actually been designed by New York-based firm AF Design Lab for Ottone Meloda.

Quarantacinque means forty-five in Italian and it also happens to be the name of this particular washbasin faucet. What's interesting about the Quarantacinque is that it's a single faucet meant to control both hot and warm water for your perfect washing mix, not to mention the actual water flow. That's right, the Quarantacinque does it all and it will certainly surprise your guests, at least when it comes to their first hand washing experience using it. The Quarantacinque is definitely the modern faucet you were interested in bringing to your modern bathroom and Ottone Meloda, its creator, has other interesting and very similar bathroom ideas so check them all out before choosing this Quarantacinque as your next bathroom washbasin faucet.
This modern BRS shower is just a very interesting concept so far that happens to have won the Lite-On Awards just recently. As you can see in the images below, the BRS, or bathroom recycle system, is a shower that doesn't only look good but also can help you save some water with every shower you take. Instead of waiting for the water to get warm enough for your next shower with the water running and therefore being wasted, why not recycle it in the huge transparent basin. That way the recycled, clean, cold water (but otherwise unused yet) can be used for the washbasin or the toilet on the other side of the shower. Once the temperature of the water rises you can enjoy a great shower with the water running at the desired parameters. The concept is really simple here; the BRS shower has two showerheads that simply let you save the cold water and only take advantage of the warm/hot water for all your showers. Anyone looking to buy a BRS shower yet? Via Lite-On Awards

Not all of us have the good fortune to live in sprawling bungalows or spacious apartments. But that doesn't necessary mean we can't enjoy a soothing bathing experience. Check out the Gen-X Walk-in Bathtub by Tressee which tackles the issue of space beautifully and is very relevant in today's design context. The compact bath tub with its discrete design won't hog up much space in the bathroom and will provide its user a haven from the drudgery of live. It may be small in design but it's big on features since it includes a hydromassager, a blower, color therapy, heater, lighting system, radio, and drain with tub refill.

Design Guru Patricia Urquiola has channelled her creative energies for Agape to design the minimalistic Vieques Tub. This steel tub's stark form factor may not appeal to everyone however its no frills design along with its two tone finish is undeniably attractive. The Vieques Tub was designed in 2008 but the multi-faceted design is still relevant in today's contemporary design continuum. A modern take on the traditional bath tub, the Vieques features a white finish on the inside and dark grey finish on the outside which is complemented by a teak shelf and backrest.

With the Cult and Fusion series, Italian design studio Altamoda plays with two extremes to create something that pushes boundaries so to give birth to an imaginative and creative space. The Cult collection is a lush medley of bold geometric forms, pulsating colors and pop kitschy aesthetics. Where as the Fusion Collection opts for a more minimalist route and is defined by earthy and monochromatic color palette, sophisticated aesthetics and clean lines. Though two collections belongs to by meshing theatricality and beauty flawlessly. Blurring lines between art and design, the two collections challenges the traditional design perspective and reverberates with individuality and style.

The Tub-E by Wild Terrain Designs is an electronic bathtub that seems to mirrors the bathroom culture of the future or so we like to hope. A fantastic fusion of functionality, modern aesthetics and cutting-edge technology, this bathtub of the future is as smart as its sexy. Don't be fooled by the rather pedestrian bucket shape since the tub has been designed to accommodate two people and is all about comfort. The overall dimensions are 1200mm wide and 1200mm high and it includes a stunning swirl staircase, in perforated stainless steel that draws the user in and charms with its hypnotic design. Available in Stainless steel or Copper, the Electronic Tub-E has a smart system which can be used to auto fill, auto empty, auto clean option, and can also add any number of essential oils during the fill cycle. However this is not where the goodness ends as the tub also features a built-in heater, embed pinhole LED lights and an one-touch programming.
