This morning I was looking for colorful furniture suggestions and came across the Chat Sofa and Chair by Soft Line. Chat falls somewhere between a chair and a sofa due to its size smaller than an average sofa. This example is a bit bolder with two colors making a strong statement. A more subtle example might be black and white paired together which is common in contemporary decorating settings. More product information: here.

Called "Corian Nouvel Lumieres", this kitchen design was created by Jean Nouvel for DuPont and Ernestmeda. The cornerstone of the design is the backlit cabinet lighting and the visual effect it has on the entire kitchen. The backlit cabinet lighting was created by using transparent Corian panels and then installing lighting in the back of the cabinets. We have covered a lot of architecture projects and this one, called "Leaf House", may well be the most amazing cottage in the world.
