All the rain on the East Coast the past few days is causing me to long for the days of summer so recently behind us. Coming across the X-Code from Yoann Designs didn’t make things any better!
But they are pretty cool. The X’s on the X-Code are bendable areas of the furniture that allow it to be folded in to a upright chair, a flat bench or a convenient table. With alternating slats, the X-Code folds into itself and locks sturdily into position. It also folds up easily for storage during these winter months.

So much of modern interior design is both fashionable and functional, but there are some elements that look just plain uninviting. Sterile environments, sharp corners, hard plastics and extreme minimalism can be part of modern design but are not necessarily part of modern comforts.
