Garden Office, A Cubical for Work in a Tranquility Oasis

10:42 pm in Home Office Furniture, Patio & Outdoor Furniture, Workstations by chris

Are you a person that works from home on a regular basis? Then, instead of trying our space-saving office solution why not "plant" your office in your garden? The Garden Office in the images below is definitely a daring concept, which will make working from home a lot more interesting. Shaped almost like a regular cubical, the Garden Office offers you the possibility of taking coffee breaks right in your own back yard while also giving you the feeling that you're leaving to work every morning and coming back from work every evening. The Garden Office has plenty of open spaces that will let you enjoy your garden while working and it's pretty easy to build. Before hiring your architect friends to build it for you, make sure you actually have a tranquility oasis / garden to go to work to every day. Via Jordan Ridgley

Cookie, anyone?

10:09 pm in Modern Seating, SixDW: A New Beginning by SixDifferentWays

Here’s a round of chairs that are as delicious as your favorite version of this chair’s namesake. Designed by Infiniti Design in Italy, the Cookie is a polycarbonate chair that obtains its shape through injection molding.

The best part is that indulging in these Cookies won’t make you feel guilty. Available in red, black, white and transparent, the Cookie also comes in three different shapes. There is a 4-star base version of the Cookie chair that is made in either aluminum or steel rod. The two other versions are made from chrome, one is known as the spider version and the other a stackable sleigh model.

What do you think about these Cookies? Much healthier than the ones we’re used to, right?

Feel-Thru Panels Create a Private Room Where There Is None

7:16 am in Bedroom Furniture, Lamps & Lighting by chris

The Feel-Thru panel/curtain is exactly what you need to create a separate private room especially in case you happen to live in a very large studio. The panels can be folded and hanged as you please, and while they'll definitely hide certain areas of the house from curious eyes they'll also let plenty of light come in. The Feel-Thru panels come in either crude or black and will offer you 4 distinct light-friendly finishes. Each panel measures 390 x 2500 x 12 mm and weighs 3.2kg. What's interesting about the design of the Feel Thru is that you can connect as many panels as you wish through magnetization so you'll be able to create a private room or area as big or as small as you want. We have no pricing details for you at this time but there sure are plenty of pictures to admire. Via ABR
